    Dear Bart,
    Thankx for this service.
I am a senior gal looking to expand affordable housing for seniors.
I feel the “key” is in creating a standard “in-fill” development entitlement process for small developers and investors. Got any feed-back for me?
    Thankx,
    Doc Linda

  6. CM Says:

    Linda,

the entitlement process is largely dictated by the government agencies you have to deal with and how well your project fits in with the property’s present and future use.

The process can change considerably from project to project.

The “key” is knowing what the process will include before you ever get started. Proper due diligence will tell you that and that can be standardized. (Which we have done.)

  7. Caren Wills Says:

Where are you located? Is this an Australian publication and how relevant is it to a Gold Coast location?

    looking forward to your reply
    Caren

  8. CM Says:

    Hey Caren,

    we are in the U.S.

Many of the same issues and problems you encounter with developments in the US are also found in Australia, so a lot of what we talk about will apply. (Some of the terminology is quite different though.) If you are complete newbie that might create a problem, but if you have a little bit of experience - shouldn’t be a problem.
